The American Idol honcho was apparently so taken with the President's impressive rendition of Al Green's Let's Stay Together at a New York fundraiser last week that he sent him a message via Twitter, inviting him to appear on the reality competition to perform a duet with the soul legend!
He wrote:
"@BarackObama we loved your vocal performance so much we'd love to invite you on to #AmericanIdol this Season for a duet with Al Green."
Oh man! That would be so effing RAD!
We seriously hope all parties involve agree!
